Pleasure Attitudes: Building an Embodied Self-care Practice that

Pleasure Attitudes is a one-of-a-kind online experience that helps you build a more confident and self-compassionate relationship to pleasure AND gives you the tools to do it. In an openhearted digital space, you will embark on an interactive exploration of what you need to feel empowered, motivated, and grounded in an authentic self-care practice.

This 4-week journey features a combination of self-reflection exercises, interactive activities, and candid group discussion guided by facilitators Sarah Tomchesson and Anne Hodder-Shipp. Learn more about your co-facilitators here.

Pleasure Attitudes is for anyone inspired to create a more joyful relationship to pleasure but doesn’t know where to start. This class is for you if:

Pleasure Attitudes is a communal container to share honestly and openly with a community of engaged and like-minded participants and informed facilitators as you unpack and explore. This is the cost of the program, plus a donation to pay it forward so that we can afford to offer Accessibility pricing. Pay this price if it will not have a noticeable impact on your financial stability and ability to meet your basic needs.

Accessibility: $59
This is a discounted price available to anyone who is unemployed, underemployed, or struggles to meet their basic needs month to month. There are only 3 tickets available at this price. If you choose this price but can afford the Regular rate, you are taking an opportunity away from someone who genuinely needs it.

HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT:

Week 1: We will set personal and group intentions for the course and define pleasure on your terms. You will leave with important information about what pleasure means to you and be able to confidently identify your unique sources of pleasure and how (or if) they show up in your current practices.

Week 2: We will identify pleasure role models and how to use them as guides in our process of becoming resourced around self-care. Together we will engage in an embodied exploration of how it feels to say “yes,” “no,” and “maybe” and build a more compassionate relationship to boundaries. You will leave with a renewed sense of permission to prioritize your needs and a more grounded feeling in your body.

Week 3: Using what we’ve learned so far, we will start to build our pleasure toolboxes.  Pulling from the past and utilizing visualization, we will identify the emotions we want to feel day to day. We will then identify and work through what gets in the way of accessing them. You will leave with a practical starter kit of pleasure tools to support you in your self-care journey.  

Week 4: Our final week is a love letter to yourself.  Together we explore what to invite in and what we need to leave behind to experience more self-love and compassion every day. You will leave primed to prioritize your needs and desires, empowered to let go of the baggage, and ready to commit to at least one pleasure practice you can begin right away.
